Major companies included ExxonMobil, (who also contracted Nachural for stand design and setup) Pfizer, Merrill Lynch and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Nachural undertook project and event management, customer liaison, exhibitor co-ordination, exhibition stands and all audio-visual requirements.

Their annual black tie Economic Dinner has always attracted high profile industrialists and politicians such at David Cameron, leader of the Conservatives and Dr Vince Cable, leader of the Liberal Democrats.

In keeping with the style of the evening, sound, video, lighting and stage set are installed.

A full video production unit (PPU) ensures high quality live images are captured to the large format main screen and relayed around the logistically challenging room by numerous 50″ plasma screens.

A distribute PA system with loudspeakers discretely placed near each plasma screen ‘localises’ the sound and provides high quality audio for all.

Hosted by Sky TV’s Marverine Cole the event was attended by over 300 guests and was in recognition of the achievements of women in our society and showcasing their success. Nachural constructed a full stage and set at the end of the venue’s long room at right angles to the traditional stage position.

Incorporating large screen projection and in line with the clients brief the stage and room were lit with eco friendly LED lighting which brightly colour washed the entire venue.

Jo was said to be delighted with the ‘look’ of the event and has since booked a further five functions.

The event hosted numerous artists including Lemar, Booty Luv and X Factor’s Andy Abrahams.nachural covered all technical and logistical aspects including site surveys, risk assessments, power distribution, sound, lighting, staging and artist liaison.

For the technically minded, over 80Kw of Sound, 100Kw of lighting and a twin synchronised 300KVa generator set were employed to service the event.

An extensive opening day program catered for all tastes and around 8000 visitors enjoyed a fun day at their new venue.

Nachural provided sound reinforcement and technical facilites in the theatre area which hosted ‘Rythms of the City’ a 12-piece supporting band of the Brazilian musical legend Bosco d’Oliveira. Together with star singers, dancers, horn section and guitars, the band presents a variety of Afro-Brazilian styles that include samba, samba-reggae, maracatu plus their own developments in samba-funk, samba-hip-hop and salsa.

The year has seen us retain all existing and much valued clients such as the CBI, Sandwell Council and the Black Country Chamber of Commerce but also extend our client portfolio with prestigious organisations such as Advantage West Midlands and the NHS.

Nachural Experience a Busy 2008

nachural have experienced a very busy start to 2008 with events ranging from Sandwell Council’s meet the architect event, CBI’s Economic Dinner, MSDUK’s high profile exhibition at the Emirates and the UK launch of Humanade.

Joe Corre, boss of fashion label Agent Provocateur in conjunction with Vivienne Westwood launched a new human rights project. Entitled Humanade, a very glitzy event was held at the recently refurbished Birmingham Town hall. The project was managed by nachural’s new event director, Lisa Ibbotson who recently joined us following a number of years at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce.

Other events include the Supply Sandwell exhibition held in a giant marquee in the grounds of the beautiful Balaji Temple. In addition to full AV support, nachural supplied the marquees and power generators.

A series of events are scheduled featuring Sir Alan Sugar’s most famous apprentice, Jo Cameron. Jo will be presenting a ‘one woman’ show sharing her business experience and anecdotes about the famous BBC TV programme.

BBC and ITV political correspondent John Sergeant gave a very entertaining talk at Birmingham Botanical Gardens at the prestigious CBI Summer Banquet to a host of industrial leaders. Once again nachural provided full event support.

Beaties department store in Wolverhampton hosted a fashion show with an Indian Summer theme in conjunction with Wolverhampton University. Nachural supplied set, staging and PA support for the three show event.

Centered around green issues affecting business, over 700 visitors attended the one day event which also offered seminars and a talk from guest speaker, BBC’s Professor Carl Chinn.
